Question
Desperate? I need help with a window treatments for my family room.  We have 3 windows side by side totaling 128 1/2 in width and are 46L.  (Outside Measure) The ceilings in this room are 7 1/2 ft.  We now have 3 of those temporary pleated shades which make window look so wide and short. Any advice???

Answer
Hi Tina G

My advise would be to fit long floor length curtains. This will give your windows a taller look. You could also consider fitting a top treatment such as a valance or pelmet/cornice.

This will make your window look higher if you set it a bit higher than normal. You could just fit a decorative rod over your window. Instead of fitting say 5 inches over the top of your window. Fit at 8 to 10 inch this will make your window look squarer.

Best regards

Lee
