|Comment||Well I did what you suggested - every morning for 5 days in a row - made sure all adobe stuff and java stuff was up to date and of course all windows updates (even the non critical ones) yet I still received the pop up message - the PC is still under warranty so I did a HP live chat - their immediate response was "its infected - reload OS" - which I thought was a bit of over kill - so I did something I have never done before - I purchased an anti virus software - did some reading on CDNET and found Bitdefender- was 29$ and I had 5$ off - installed it and ran it once ... and either it repaired it or it's preventing the pop up from showing - so to be honest I have no idea ... but thanks for your time AssistMyPc@aol.com|
