Question
Hi!
I got a Windows 7 installition cd. Can I move the files from the CD to the USB stick, and then install windows to the PC which doesn't yet have a OS? The PC doesn't have a cd drive, but my main PC does. So is it possible to transfer windows files from cd to usb and install the windows like that? (The usb is bootable)

Answer
hi there

Yes it is possible, but its not as simple as just copying the files over to the USB drive.

this guide should help you:

also on the target PC you will likely have to go into the bios and set it boot from the USB key.
