Windows 7/unknown folder created in driver E

hello dear

when I access drive E in my hard disk , I found unknown created folders , also I couldn't open them
I didnt know whats those folders ?
is their danger or referral to virus ?
how can I remove them ?

kindly find attached screenshot for this problem , you ll find this folders exist in the first folder row

noitced that I have win7 with sony vaio device E-series

What type of drive is it, USB, SD hard drive etc?

Sometimes files on a drive will become corrupt. During the boot process Windows will attempt to recover or repair those files and may move them to another folder. If a folder has become corrupt and Windows is unable to determine its name it will rename it unknown

Some data recover software may rename a folder
