Question
I have a Dell Dimension 2350 with Win XP Home and it will only stay on for about two minutes - any ideas as to what it may be?  I don't think it is an XP problem, it seems to be more hardware related.
Thank you,
Landon

Answer
Hello Landon,

this usually hap[pends when the cpu is overheating , you need to check if the cpu fan is still spinning fast.

also it could be a problem with the power supply , you need to check that one too. " by sending it to a technical workshop "

it could be a windows problem , try booting into safe mode , when you start your computer keep pressing F8 and a boot menu will appear , choose "safe mode" from that menu , and see if it stands for more than two minutes.

take care and good luck.
