Question I managed to download google earth's icon onto my desktop but when I try to open it I get two windows popping up. The first one tells me that "A device attached to the system is not functioning." The second one that pops up over that says "the google-earth-czxv.exe file is linked to missing export kernel 32.dll:get user default uilanguage." I have reg cure and gave it a spin but still no luck. Everything that tucows suggests is no better. Help!
Answer Hello Heather, a possible problem could be corrupt files. Regcure checks your registry, but registry files are not the problem. A simple missing part of the files needed to start your Google Earth's Icon may be missing. The second message basically tells you right there. Your program is missing kernal 32.dll as it says. A possible solution is to retry the download, and retry installing the new one after removing the old one. If that still doesn't work, then the source you are getting it from may be bad itself. Good luck and have a great day!
