Windows 95/98/Trusteer Rapport

Question
Hi Lorry: My bank website has been promoting some freeware called "Rapport" by Trusteer, which is supposed to block keylogger malware among other things.Do you know anything about this freeware? I take the usual security precautions ( up to date anti-virus and firewall),and I use a freeware product called Sandboxie which prevents malware writing to my hard drive.Do I really need Rapport? I HAVE downloaded and installed it,and it works as advertised with IE6,but I can't make it work with my browser of choice,Firefox.I am in the process of getting help from Trusteer and Sandboxie in this matter at present.
Your thoughts please,thanks!

Answer
Hi Michael,

To be honest with you, never heard of this product but after checking the various sites, it looks pretty good and secure. Then again I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for, meaning that I would remove the Rapport program.

I would suggest using an anti-virus program that protects against keyloggers, as well as viruses and other threats. I would also continue using Sandboxie. Check out Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.38 at:

Hope this helps!
