Question QUESTION: Just bought a new card reader/writer from Stealth Cam. When I tried to install the CD Driver it only runs on Windows 98, I am using Windows XP. Where can I down load a driver for this card reader?
THX,
Rual
ANSWER: Hi Rual,
In XP, card readers are `plug and play' (no driver needed). Just put your SD card in the reader and plug it into a USB port. Your system will find and install it and it will pop up as a new drive in `My Computer'.

QUESTION: Did that, plugged in a SD card with pictures and got a message could not read/open; tried a CF card and got the same results. I take both cards to my HP photo printer and it can read both cards so I know the cards are not corrupted.
Answer Hi again Rual,
Like I said, I'm sure that no driver is needed for XP. It therefore must be the card reader or USB slot. Try it in a different slot. Also, if a flash drive works OK, that eliminates the slot problem.
Walmart has a very good Targus card reader for $8 that you might try.
