Windows 95/98 - win98/xp dual boot?

Expert: Kevin - 6/9/2009

Question
Hi,
I have a laptop that has winXP pro installed and it is very slow. I don't want to get rid of WinXP because it is useful for doing homework (it has office included).  I created a FAT32 partition in front of the NTFS partition with XP on it. I have been unable to install win98 to it though, it keeps complaining about the NTFS but doesn't notice the FAT32. I even tried copy-pasting an existing installation from another computer (illegal) but it says it is a non-bootable disk. Is there any way I can get Win98 installed?
any help greatly appreciated

Answer
Hi Morgan, see if the below guide helps out:

If you still get that problem with NTFS, tell me what step you are up to and give me the exact message that's showing.

Kevin.
