Expert: Karl Zick - 7/19/2009

Question
I own an HP computer with windows 98.I would like to upgrade to to windows XP. How to upgrade to windows XP without loosing any programs or data on my pomputer.
Thanks

Answer
Hi Albert,

Buy a copy of the XP Home `upgrade' and run it from within Windows.  You can order it from Amazon for about $70.  A used copy should work fine.  When you upgrade your Windows operating system, it keeps all of your applications and personal files intact.
