Expert: Kevin - 8/21/2009

I have never come across this problem before. I reformated the hardrive, and for the life of me cant get windows to install. The hardrive is wiped clean.I have try two copies of xp pro and one copy of xp home. It just stops at windows set-up with a blue screen.I boot to windows disk.Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks

Hi Darren, which step of the Windows setup are you in now? Were you just pass the press any key to boot from CD stage or much further (copying Windows files or actually installing Windows stage)?

You could try doing a full format on it to see if it helps. The drive itself is still in good condition? Bad drives can result in erratic behavior as well.
