AboutMichael Troy Expertise I have lots of answers for problems with defrag, clock time, performance, system resources, problems with passwords, opening files, etc. I also probably know of a freeware/shareware application for anything you want to do: sharing Internet, firewalls, games, utilities, graphics, audio, etc.
Experience I am the Director of Information Systems for a large law firm. I handle all sorts of hardware and software problems for over 300 users who use Windows 95/98. I also have a home network of six computers.
Question I have a new hard disk drive size 80 GB & I install windows 98 in my system. But i can't find the partition option. When installation completed i saw that only one drive called "C drive" is present not other drives & the size of "C drive" is 76 GB. So how can i partition the hard drive into 4 drives & installing 98 again. Please solve my problem .
Answer Hello,
Windows does not have much in the way of built in partitioning. By default, Windows installs itself as a single partition. Generally I do not recommend breaking up a drive into separate partitions as it only makes things more confusing. But if you want to do this, I recommend you get special partition software like Partition Magic or Partition Manager.
