I need help removing porn and webcam from my computer. I didn't install this and the other person here saids he didn't! Yea! Right! Anyway it has screwed up everything! I have installed Nortons Anti virus and all of the viruses have been removed. I go into the add/remove and everything I try to uninstall locks the computer up. This is windows 98, I can't find how to restore back to another date. Does 98 not have this? PLEASE HELP! Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa, it may or may not be created by the other person.  It could be spyware.  If you want to try to restore the registry, do the following immediately:

1. Get a startup/boot disk for win98
2. Restart/bootup your computer and insert the bootdisk and set the bios to boot from the floppy first
3. Load it without the drivers and then type in the following:

scanreg /restore

Then hit ENTER and choose the date before all this happened.  If that doesn't solve the problem then I highly recommend you download Adaware (download it anyway).  Download and install this program.  Then run it to detect any spyware and remove it.  You can get it at:
