Question Hi...
I ran a Spybot check on my machine last week. It turns out I had the "Backorifice.b" trojan. I removed it and everything seems ok...but how do I make sure it is gone? Are there any really good spyware removal tools on the market I can utilize.
Also, now when I go to My Computer, right-click on "C:\" and I try to perform a Disk Cleanup...it shows absolutely no kb's of anything in my temp internet files or anything....what's that all about?
Thanks,
Neal
Answer Hi Neal,
PC Magazine gives Webroot's 'Spy Sweeper' its highest rating. I also like 'Spy Subtract' by Intermute. One program seems to find stuff the other doesn't - and vice-versa.
As far as disk cleanup, 'Window Washer' by Webroot is great. I happened to find a combo pack of both Spy Sweeper and Window Washer at the local Navy BX for $15 and use them both religiously.
