About Chris Schuh Expertise I have several years of schooling in this area (including post-secondary), and also several years in the work force. This is my career, and I love helping others out with computer problems. I possess excellent written communication skills which allows me to guide people through complicated solutions to their problems with relative ease.
Outside of helping people with their computer issues, I'm also a Professional Magician and a Musician. You can check me out at www.chrisschuh.com!
I'm using Windows XP, but when I consulted the experts in the area Windows XP, they all said it was outside their expertise. So I saw that you followed a schooling for it, so maybe you can help me.
I recently noticed that I can't play any videoformats anymore with Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, Winamp and Divx Player. I just get sound, but no movie (black). When I use QuickTime Player, it can play the files perfectly. Now I am wondering how I can fix this (because QuickTime Player can't play all formats)?
Thanx for your help.
Lorenzo Goossens
PS: All players are the most recent versions of the software.
Answer Hi Lorenzo,
I don't have much experience with Windows XP, as per my profile. The only thing that I could suggest (which you may have already done) is to try re-installing Windows Media Player by downloading it again from Microsoft's site.
