ANSWER: Hi gaurav,

how are you doing today? Windows is basic for all networking concepts. So you first complete your MCSE. I know it is expensive. But it gives more value to your resume. And now a dayz unix is becoming powerful platform. So i suggest you to complete Solaris 10 Administration. The packages are good in unix administration. If you have any doubts you can call me at 9849312478. Where r u from actually?

Thanks & regards,

QUESTION: Hello Sir,

Firstly thanks for your guidence.Sir now i want to know is MCSE simply a networking course. It donot include any specilisation. After completing this you have to choose another course for specilisation of any field(shch as Exchange Server,Unix DNS Server etc).Sir plz guide me firstly i should go for MCSE and after competing this i will look for specilisation in any field.I am not aware of this courses and till now no one guide me for what i should go for.Basically i am from Rohtak(Haryana)

ANSWER: Hello Gaurav,

No need to worry. MCSE contains 7 papers exam. Last paper u can select either Exchange Server or SQL Server. So there is no specialization in this field. As an administrator you should aware of all the technologies(old and new). that gives you more value. after finishing the MCSE, just go for solaris...that is more than enough...Best of luck. What is your orkut id? You can ask me at anytime regarding career.....i can provide you guidance not as an expert, just as friend. ok.

QUESTION: Dear Sir,

Sorry but i am again distarbuing you.As per your suggestion I am going to give the exam of 70-290 (MCP).But one of my friend told me that these all fields MCSE,LINUX/UNIX, and CCNA are different. He told me rather than doing MCSE you should directly go for unix training from reputated institute.Sir now suggest me what should i do firstly i will do mcse or directly go for unix.Currently i am getting 10K per month and still i do not have interest in any field just i do not have any certification with me.I had knowledge of basics concept of network on windows. As someone told me this field is better you should prepare for MCSE then the same time someone told me you should prepare for CCNA.In this situation i getting  in very trouble and also in confusion.Sir should i directly go for unix administration.Sir should i call you on your mobile and clear my confusion.

Answer
Dear Gaurav,

How are you doing? Yes you can call me at any time, thats not a prob. my number is 9849312478. And what your friend said is correct but remember one thing. Windows is user friendly, very easy to learn and use. Its a basic thing for all remaining subjects. DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP all are same for all operating systems. If you try to learn them in unix or linux, u will not get a clear idea what are those. If you learn them on windows it would be very helpful for you. Other than these there are lot more concepts which are similar in all operating systems. Rather than learning them on linux or unix, i suggest you to learn in windows. So that you will get a clear picture about all the concepts. because windows is GUI based and linux or unix not. So the concept is same and options are same. Once you get the concept you will get all the concepts easily in remaining operating systems. Now a  days unix is getting more popular. i agree with that. packages are also good in unix only. If you have knowledge of all those concepts in windows, better go directly with UNIX. Its very helpful for your career. and CCNA is common for all the operating systems. Whether you do MCSE or UNIX certification CCNA needed as an added advantage. If you have orkut id just add me in your friends list. my id is....narayanacharan@gmail.com. So that we will keep in touch regularly.

I hope this is informative for you. I would like to thank you for asking me this question.

Thanks & Regards,
