QUESTION: Hi,

We have clients who using VPN to our BDC but its keep disabling by itself. i got no idea why.I even tried to change it to Automatic and checked all the settings but no vail. Please help me out.

ANSWER: Dear Sathish,

How are you doing? Every service has Recovery Tab.Try to use that tab options. And before that, you are telling that it was disabling automatically after one hour. My question is are you able to start the service after it was disabled automatically? or it needs to be the pc restated?

I hope this is informative for you. I would like to thank you for asking me this question.

Yes i able to start the service from disable to start mode and use the IAS service. Even i tried to check after starting the service then i restarted the server, the service is running, then after a DAY it get disabled. Im not sure what causing the IAS services get disabled.

ANSWER: Dear Sathish,

Try this command....sfc /scannow from safemode. It scans the system files and replaces the original files which are required to run the services properly. Try this command and come back to me.

QUESTION: hi sir,
yes i did as you said, but still the same problem when i trace back i suspect it caused by the group policy where it doest allow changes on BDC after a day after PDC update the policy. How do i release the GP force for the changes then enforce the GP again.

Answer
Dear Satish,

How are you doing? Please download the Group Policy Management Console(Which is a latest console to manage group policies in enterprise level). There identify the policy location, right click on it and select edit option to change the policy settings. You can download it from the following link.
