Windows Networking - DLL error

Expert: Kevin Watkins - 7/25/2007

Question
I am having a problem with a slow Internet connection with my DSl. I think it has something to do with the error message I get when I start my PC using XP Home SP2

The message reads

Cannot find import DLL. May be missing, corrupt or wrong version. File "rtL.bpl", error 125

I have used McAfee and other registry cleaners thinking  that is may be a Trojan but have not been able to resolve the problem.

Any suggestions would be  a great help.

Answer
The first thing I would do is run a Spyware scan on your system

The programs I use to do that are
(I have provide the links to down load them):
Spybot Search and Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

AD-Aware
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007-Free/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-...

AVG Anti Spyware
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/31/us/crp/0?prd=asw

Ad-Aware and AVG have both free and paid versions of their software, spybot is completely free, however you can donate if you wish

I also recommend downloading and installing CCleaner.
This will remove any temporary files such as internet cache, and scan you registry and remove any redundant or absolute registry entries
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Click Download Latest Version on the far Right neat the top

Let me know if after you have completed this if you still get the error.
