Windows Networking - Sending large files - a QB file of 600 MB file

Expert: Kevin Watkins - 8/7/2007

Question
We have an offsite accountant who needs access to our Quickbooks file which is around 600 MBs.  Do you know of the best way to transfer it?  Is FTP a possibility?  Are there any third party programs, preferably free, that can do this?
Thank you,
Landon

Answer
I would not use FTP it is not very secure.  I would not want to transfer financial data on a connection like that.

Download Hamachi @ https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp?lang=en

You can buy this program but they also have a free version.
