Question
Hi,
I have a windows 2000 pro installed in a computer at my office and would like to hook it up with the office server which is running Windows server 2003. Can you help me with the simple procedure of how to access the office network wiht my new windows 2000 pro PC.
Thank You.

Answer
You will need to have a user acount on the server machine with remote access allowed.

You will need to know you WAN IP address.  Goto ipchicken.com to find out you IP Address.

You will need to forward these ports in your router to the IP address of the server PPTP 1723, IPSec 500, 42-51

Finally you will need to set a VPN connection in Network Connections on the Pro Machine
