Hi Saed,
I have a Dell laptop using Windows Vista, how do I set the power to shut off the computer after 2 hours of no action?

Hello Randy how are you doing

unfortunately windows built-in power options doesn't support complete shutdown based on idle but it does support sleep mode and hibernate

if you want to completely shut off the machine " not the hibernate way or sleep mode way you need to create a task schedule to do so

to create a shutdown task on idle check this link

windows vista/7 task schedule is almost identical so follow the windows 7 steps.
