QUESTION: Thanks for your quick response!
The document was suddenly on my screen and was immediately put in the list of Word documents on my initial Word window, joining the list of other documents that were already there!
So it joined several doctor's notes and letters that I had written.
Basically, I am asking: "How does one totally delete a Word document from the right-hand list of previously-written documents.
1000 thanks for your help
Dave

ANSWER: Hello Dave,

Im sorry to say that i still did not understand your situation here
im totally confused , i do not know what are you exactly talking about.
so this document that you are talking about is in a folder with the other documents ?
have tried right clicking on it choosing "delete"?

QUESTION: Dear Saad:
When I go to M.Word I get to "Document 1  M.Word" with the usual tool bar - on that tool bar I click "File". The little window shows: New   Open    Close   etc. Last item is "Exit"
Next-to-last is a list of four documents, three indicated as located in H/...... but the one I want to delete is:
When I click on that, I get a full window of photos -that I'd rather not describe(I suspect a family member has been
active on this computer!!)
At the very top of the screen is: "(Read Only)  Microsoft Word"
How can I delete this unpleasant document from M.Word?
I appreciate your concern and patience!
Dave
