About Jeffrey Bradley
Expertise
I can answer questions about Windows XP and 2000 that include installation, setup, how to do certain things with those operating systems (Some examples are un-installing drivers, creating limited accounts, etc.), I can also answer questions about securing wireless networks and most wireless router configuration questions as well. What I can not answer (at least not at this time), is how to write scripts in Vb Script or Windows Scripting Host format. NOTE: As of 3/29/2008, I have now finished college for my AS degree in Internet Technology! I am now a graduate of Keiser University and in case your courious, I ended up with a 3.6 GPA which means that I will be graduating with honors when I walk in May. (Cum Laude). It also means that responses should be a lot faster, too. :-) Thank you.

Experience
I have been with Windows since it first came out and involved with computers before Windows even came out (I had the commodore Vic 20). Here is a trivia question: What was AOL's original names from startup? A. Quantum Link for the Commodore computer systems, Pc-Link (DOS) and AOL (Windows). I have installed and configured several networks, wired and wireless, I also run Christian Computer Services (http://www.christiancomputerservices.info) where I do on-site local area service/tech-support calls and I also educate users in computer and family security.

Organizations
Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society

Education/Credentials
I am a student at Keiser University in Lakeland, Florida and will be receiving an A.S. Degree in Internet Technology next year and my GPA runs from 3.5-3.8.

Subject: cingular phone photo sent to etower

Question
QUESTION: I guess I need to call cingular or emachines hotline bec Im not getting help on here. I took 3 pics w/my cingular phone, sent those to my etower in hopes of burning cd to take to walmart so I could get pics printed. When I went to look at them on my hotmail account the pics were attachments which is good, but they were NOT in jpeg format! Now, how do I change those attachments of the photos over to jpeg format?? The pics are in att.net format right now. Please, please help me!!!  Christal

ANSWER: Hi Christal,

Any chance you can come up with a file extension?

If you haven't go My Computer, click on tools, then folder options, click on the view tab, look for the line Hide extensions for known file types and un check the box. Click ok, now go to your hotmail account and download the attachment and see if it has an extension (it would be the 3 letters after the period).

Also how did you send the pictures, via MMS or email attachment?

QUESTION: Thanks for yr help so much. Attachments/messages are in MMS.att.net format. I have done exactly what u suggested and UN checked the "hide extensions for known file types". I tried sending one pic again to my hotmail and it came in the MSS.att.net format once again. I have tried sending pics to my yahoo account and it appears that way as well on yahoo account. I want to pull my hair out!! Do u know of anything else that may work?? I would really appreciate it.           Christal

Answer
Hi,

Since one of the things that allexperts doesn't have (yet) is the ability to attach files and I would actually like to have something to work with :-)

If you don't mind, could you please go here:

http://www.free-tech-support.info/web/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=7&for...

Follow the instructions in that message and I'll see what I can do.
