Question
Hello..

Probably a stupid question but here goes. A friend of ours purchased a new Dell Inspiron PC about 2 months ago. It is now so loaded with viruses and spywarw they agreed to let me format the drive and reinstall XP w SP2. Problem is, I got home and my keyboard is PS2 not USB. There are NO PS2 ports on this new Dell. I don't suppose there is any way to format the drive and reinstall XP without getting a USB keyboard?

Hi Paul,

There is no such thing as a stupid question. The best thing for you to do is to get the mouse and keyboard from your friend and then install Windows XP.

While you have it, you might want to install an anti-virus program, AVG is one of the best free ones available. Check it out at:

Another download to check for spyware would be Spybot available from:

Check for updates before running a scan.
