Question
Hello..

Probably a stupid question but here goes.  A friend of ours purchased a new Dell Inspiron PC about 2 months ago.  It is now so loaded with viruses and spywarw they agreed to let me format the drive and reinstall XP w SP2.  Problem is, I got home and my keyboard is PS2 not USB.  There are NO PS2 ports on this new Dell.  I don't suppose there is any way to format the drive and reinstall XP without getting a USB keyboard?

Thanks,

Paul

Answer
Hello Paul,

I am afraid you are going to have to use a USB mouse and keyboard for your assignment. Or else, pop into a PC shop and get yourself a "USB to PS/2 Adaptor" (see below) cable to hook up your present keyboard onto the PC.

Suggestion 2

Purchase a "PS2-to-USB" converter plug and hook it up at the end of the keyboard's PS2's end and you are done!
