Subject: removal of music match from XP pro

Question
Ikeep getting (access denied ) when i try to install music match from Cd..I bought the Cd from the company and they are out of business and yahoo bought them out.There is no evidence of Music match on any folder...WhATS UP???

Answer
Hello Jerry,

i am kinda confused now , are you trying to install music match or remove music match?

and the access denied msg is it from the music match installer or windows system msg?

if you are trying to install music match for the first time , try to copy the setup/installer from the cd and placing it in a new folder on desktop and running the setup from desktop this may work.

also you may need to check that you have privilege to run / install programs on your computer , these kind of msgs appears when you dont have right access to install a program or even on creating a folder under program files or windows folder.

let me know what happens

take care and good luck.
