Question
I tried logging into my PC and got the following message:

"A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking license for this computer. Error Code: 0x800700005"

Answer
Hello Livingstone  how are you doing

try running the validation tool
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?displaylang=en-gb
press on validate windows

or

goto start menu -> run , tyoe "sfc /scannow"  without " " and press ok

when it asks you for a windows XP cd , insert the cd and press ok , let this utility check your computer for missing system files.
when it is done checking,  reboot and see if the msg is gone.

if you need more help feel free to contact me back

take care and good luck
