Question
My dell xps goes through the boot sequence slowly, begins to populate the desktop with all the icons and toolbars, then the toolbar and icons disappear, leaving only the desktop wallpaper and the cursor.  The cursor follows the mouse, but the machine is otherwise totally unresponsive.  What can I do?

Answer
Hello John,

sounds like your system is pretty much infected with spyware/malware and/or other trojans and requires some cleaning.. I suggest visiting my website at http://tpsconsulting.com and read the TIPS page on OPTIMIZING your computer. Then go to the SOFTWARE/SUPPORT page and install all the programs from the PINK section as they will help with the cleaning/removal and ongoing maintenance of the spyware/malware issues.

Sincerely,

Mike Dacre
