About Michael Tedeschi
Expertise
I can pretty much answer any question related to PC`s. My ratings speak for themselves. All I ask is that you ask the question in English.....I do not understand gibberish and I will ask you to resend the question if I cannot understand it. I will do the best I can answering your questions. I've been working with computers for well over 20 years.

Expert: Michael Tedeschi - 10/15/2009

Question
QUESTION: Michael:
I was experimenting with the ability to change the link on the IE Home Page whenever it comes up. I never did change the link, but now each time IE comes up I receive the following message from the Registry Firewall:
"A change has been detected to your IE Start Page.
The new page is.....
Click Yes if this is OK.
Click No and the start page will restore to..... "
How can I delete this message from appearing each time IE comes up.
Hope you can help. And thanks for volunteering.

ANSWER: What virus protection are you using?

QUESTION: Michael:
I have XP Pro installed, plus Norton Anti Virus, Spyware Doctor, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed on my system.
Hope that helps.

Answer
Remove spyware doctor.  You dont need the program.  I use Malwarebytes along with AVG Free Edition.  The best route for protection in my book.

If you want to keep spyware doctor, then you have to go into the options of the program and look through the options and disable the option for the alerts your receiving.
