Expert: Ramon Zammit - 11/8/2009

Question
windows XP pro sp2 run on my computer. When I run a particular .exe file it shows "this is not a valid win32 application". How I resolve this problem & install this .exe file? Please give me suggestion as soon as possible.

Answer
hey soumya

there could be two reasons:

either the application is corrupted

you are trying to run a DOS application which runs on Windows 98 SE or prior. Try changing the compatibility mode - Take a look at this link: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/appcompat.mspx

pls dont forget to rate my help thanks
