Question hi, i have a samsung (model p25)laptop and its optical drive
dosent work how can i install xp in its hard drive without
using optical drive,i dont know if it has an option to boot
frm usb or not.if i conect an empty usb to it and then
restart it stucks on boot .i have a travel casing for hdd if
its useful in installing xp please tell me the process i"ll
be very thankful

Go into Setup/BIOS and look to see if the system sees the CD/DVD drive. If so, set your boot order to be CD/DVD then hard drive and you can use it to boot. If not, the drive may be broken. It's more likely that the CD/DVD doesn't work because OS is bad. If the drive is broken, you will need to get a replacement.
There is usually a network boot option in the BIOS, but I do not know how to use it.
