Windows XP - Display Orientation turned 90 degrees

Expert: Saad Shawwa - 7/5/2009

Question
I turned my PC on the other day only to find that my display has been reoriented 90 degrees so everything is on its side.  How can I get this display reoriented to the vertical (normal) way of being viewed.

Thanks for your help

Answer
Hello Jeff how are you doing

well if you have intel display adapter then you can do that to restore it back to normal view

press CTRL+ALT+up arrow key

that should fix the problem , now if the intel hotkeys are disabled then you need to right click on your desktop and then somehow from the menu you need to goto "graphics options" then to rotation and then choose normal. maybe you will have to do it twice or 3 times because your still gonna do that while your screen is oriented into 90 degree so its going to be hard to read stuff.

take care and good luck
