As the freqent questions about Password related topics are rising up, i dont answer any Questions about "How do i logon my system when i forgot my password". Answering this would be against the laws in my country, and excuse me, i dont know you and nobody can prove me that you really want to log on to your pc and not anyone else. Thx in advance.

Question QUESTION: Hi,
My computer reboots quite frequently and I do not know its reason. I would like to be given some pieces of advice to eliminate it. It may be a hardware problem because it is the second time to happen. At first I took my PC to a repairman and he removed the graphics card (Nvidia Geforce 7600, sprayed its slot with contact spray, put back the card and it worked. Is there any possibilities to avoid taking my PC to him and repair it by my hand? Can you help me and e-mail me some advice?
If yes, I would appreciate it.
All the best,
Imre
ANSWER: Hi
what do u understand under "it reboots quite frequently". once in an hour, or every 10 or 15 minutes for example ? how long time it keeps running without reboot after power up ?
in most cases i had machines acting like this it was the power supply which caused this because the voltage power for the mainboard broke down. i think this repair man did not know what was wrong and so he pulled out the graphics card to show some action and inserted it then again.
Regards
Tom

QUESTION: Hi’
News: I have taken it to a repairman but it would be good if I knew the way of eliminating a similar problem by my hand. Let me tell you something detailed about the case:
After having switched on the PC I saw a tiny sign in the upper left corner of the screen changing the two information: Analog, Digital, Analog, Digital…, all other part of the screen was black. Finally it didn’t go on. The screen remained black and nothing happened any more.
Before that the windows booted but it was not stable. I mean that it crashed after a short while and the system started rebooting.
I think that the causer of the problem can be the graphics card. Is it possible that it does not contact in its slot (AGP) properly? The GPU and the motherboard may not be older than 2 years.
Have you had any idea in connection with it? If yes, share it with me, please!
All the best,
Imre
Answer i can not say for sure whats wrong, maybe the graphics card consumes to much power and this causes the reboot.... or its defective, your message says it does not find the monitor which is connected to the machine, so it looks on Digital and Analog and vice versa...your tekkie can check this by inserting a different card...if its happening again you can have a malfunction on the slot itself also..
