Windows XP - Can't delete zip files

Expert: Lenny - 7/5/2009

Question
Recently, zip files are not getting deleted when I select and use DELETE button or select and use Right Click to delete. I use Windows Explorer usually to access my file system.

I use ZipGenius for my compression and decompression requirements. When I first faced this proble, I uninstalled ZipGenius and installed SecureZip. I had same problem SecureZip also. Now I am back to ZipGenius but the problem remains.

Answer
Hello Sukhen,

Your computer is a victim of some underlying unknown infection masquerading as one of the zip files.

NB:Before you proceed, please click on the links(link 1 takes you to creator's page and link 2 download) below to download and install IZARC.

-Then press Enter on the keyboard
-Sit back and relax and await for search results.
-Select unnecessary files and press delete.
-Once done select one and right click and select "Open With...."
-Select Izarc and then check the option that says "Always use this program to open this kind of file...."
-Click OK

Kind Regards,
Lenny.
