QUESTION: Hi! no i don't want to view system files that i now how to view them, but the thing is i m unable to see hidden files & folders thought i had selected the option in the folder option that show hidden files & folder. By selecting this also it doesn't show hidden files & folder. plz tell if there is any solution for this.

Answer
Hi Hemant,

You might want to make sure that when you uncheck the "view hidden files" and "show protected operating system files" that you click on the "Apply to All Folders" button.

If that doesn't work you can try the following, but be aware this is something you want to be careful with.

Go to registry editor by running regedit in the run box.
Go to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1.

Good luck,
Sean
