Question QUESTION: Hi, this is Hemant i am unable to unhide the files in windows xp, i went in tools->folder options->view->& click on show hidden files & folders. still it doesn't show when i again go in folder option the click is on don't show it goes automatically. plz help me out from this problem.
ANSWER: Hi Hemant,
It sounds like you are trying to view system files in which case you need to go back into the same spot you mention about to turn on show hidden files and enable "Show protect system files".

QUESTION: Hi! no i don't want to view system files that i now how to view them, but the thing is i m unable to see hidden files & folders thought i had selected the option in the folder option that show hidden files & folder. You might want to make sure that when you uncheck the "view hidden files" and "show protected operating system files" that you click on the "Apply to All Folders" button.
If that doesn't work you can try the following, but be aware this is something you want to be careful with.
