This did not work either, I have had the same problem for years. I have the new Adobe, but the old Adobe business deluxe version has the best user friendly program out of all the editing software that I own.

I agree it is the best program, once I upgraded to XP it will not let me Load the software. None of the so-called experts have the correct answer to make it work that I have found, they lead you around in a bunch of circles, so I believe it just is not compatable with newer versions of Windows starting with XP.

I have used Adobe Photo Deluxe 1.1 for years on Windows XP without any problems. I have now installed Window 7-64 bit and it would not download onto my hard drive. I then took my external hard drive  and connected it to a computer with windows XP and it was loaded onto the external hard drive successfully.I then copied the Adobe Photo Deluxe 1.1 from the external hard drive onto my C hard drive on my computer that is running Windows 7-64 bit. I put a shortcut from the program ( PBE ) and this opens the Adobe Photo Deluxe 1.1. Now a slight problem once opened a box comes up with ( PCDLIB 32.dill ) missing. once that is deleted another box comes up with ( MSVCRTIO.dill ) is missing, once this is deleted the program works as normal. I then click onto ( Get & Fix Photo )--( Get Photo ) -- ( Open File )From then on I have had no problems to date. Hope this might help some one. What the missing files do, I don't know.

Did you change the compatibility settings?

I need the disk, or software to reinstall the software because mine disappeared. I still have the serial number, but no disk.

I hope someone will be willing to sell theirs, I can't afford much...but I love the Adobe Photodeluxe Business Edition 1.1

Well Mike simple Answer TOO EXPENSIVE to buy either Windows 7 or 8 and I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

I need the setup files for adobe photodeluxe bus ed 1.1. I have the serial number, my disk just went awol, and now it won't load properly so I get the message to reinstall the software and Adobe No Longer supports this software which is a shame as I love it.

And the trial versions found online, can't get it to register to unlock it.

I am proficient with all windows platforms. Installation and maintenance of home/business networks and servers. Windows 7, Vista. If you are still using XP then your system is simply too old to be safely surfing the internet and you should upgrade the operating system to Windows 7. If you have windows xp then your question will simply be forwarded to the question pool as I no longer feel it is worthy of my volunteered time, Since Windows 7 can handle systems with as little as 512mb of RAM memory, you have no excuse to not upgrade. If you are having problems and you are using XP there is no point in asking since the problem is with the operating system. Microsoft has stopped supporting this operating system as it is now over 10 years old.. time to upgrade!
