Question I would like to know the price of a botle of wine:
It's A MONSIEUR HENRI SELECTION
Hooper's
*PORT OF THE 1937 VINTAGE *
Produce of Portugal
From the rare port reserves of Companhia geral da agriculrura das vinhas do alto douro
Answer Hi Jorge
This is a sweet dessert wine from Portugal, but a Port of the Vintage isn't usually intended to age for so long. The company is not a famous one, and I don't know what kind of storage this might have seen. As a result, any price is a real crapshoot. The wine could still be good, but the odds are against it. In perfect condition, you might find someone who would pay more than $250 for this bottle. But you might have to work pretty hard to find someone like that.
I would estimate this at closer to $100-150. And I wouldn't buy it unless I know a lot about where it had been stored.
Hope that helps
