Wine - 2 bottles of red wine 1980 & 1986
Expert: David Baines - 11/5/2009
Question Hi
I have a 1980 Chateau Neuf du Pape-Domaine du Pere Caboche and a 1986 Cote de Beaune-Villages-H.Royer-Lebon. They were given as a gift from a former employer many years ago, just wondering if they are worth anything.
Cheers
Jacqui Elliott
Answer Jacqui,
The Chateauneuf du Pape, will be fantastic to drink, wine with a very long life, and should be worth in auction £30/40 the Cotes de Beaune Villages, is another nice red wine but not in the same league, only £7/12. it again should be drinkable.
Kind regards,
David Baines.
