Wine/vintage bottle

I have acquired a never opened full bottle of Paul Masson Rare Dry Sherry cuvée # 301d. I was just curious of any info on it that you could tell me.

Sorry for the delay---I am traveling in Italy.

The wine you have was part of a series of fine dessert wines made by Paul Masson about 25 years ago.  The most successful was the cream sherry.

They were very good, and the packaging was very popular. That's the good news.

The bad news is that they never became collectible.  I regularly see these on ebay, but not for more than about $25.

The wines are now old enough that they are starting to lose some of their charm.  Yours should have notes of caramel, vanilla, and hazelnuts, and is drying out a bit.

It certainly still offers somepleasure.

Hope that helps
