Wine/Shipping pallet of wine dimensions & weight

Can you estimate for me what it would cost to ship a pallet of wine from Seneca NY 148837 to Sacramento CA 95842?

Also what are the typical dimensions of a pallet of wine and what is weight?

Hi Bill

A pallet holds about 54 cases of wine, and most cases these days weigh about 38-40 pounds.  (Heavier bottles, wood cases, and bubbly will be more than that.

So that gives you roughly a ton or a bit more of weight.  The best bet is to find a truck that is already on this route, and can drop ship the wine to you.

You'll have to call around for best rates$  and if you are buying this wholesale, you'll have to get it shipped to a licensed address...

Hope that helps
