Wine/Hugarian Wine

Hello-  I have a bottle of 1971 Szigetvar-Inselburger Spatburgunder Ferdinand Pieroth. It was sent to us as a wedding gift 20+ yrs ago and it's been sitting in our basement. Should we drink it or save it or use it for cooking?  I can not find much on it, so I am thinking it may not be very good.  Thank you!!

It should be well past its time for drinking, but still quite OK for cooking with. When you open it, let it breath for 3 hours. Then pour a bit in a glass and savour it. If you like it, serve it with the meal. If it's unpleasant, serve it in the meal!
