I am trying to sell these wines for my grandmother but have no idea how much they would be worth. Not all of them have dates and very few of them are in pristine condition. Any input would be most appreciated. I do have pictures of them all if required. Thank you very much for your generosity with your time and expertise :)

Answer
Hi Mia

Thanks for the enquiry. Thats a hard one, some of these wines are hard to find or past their best. One also has to take into account the provenance of these, they have been stored by your grandfather, so their history is questionable from a buyers point of view. however there are some of value here. All the prices i have given are estimates, based on rough market value, but in some instances i do not know so i have left them blank.
As a real estimate I've gone with the following:

Schenk 87 Spätburgunder  ?
Schenk 87 Riesling   ?
Lanson 1970   £100
Moet 1971   £80
Egmont Gasificado   ?
Brisset 1973   £50
Heidsieck Brut  £15 (this can be bought retail for around £30 new)
St Ferdinand 1971 Mercury  £15
Ch de la Gardine   £10-£20 impossible without the vintage.
Ch Gaury Balette 1990  £15
Kaisergarten Trockenbeerenauslese 1981   £10-£15
Champagne St Honore a Vertus   £10-£20

Those are real estimates though, in all likelihood, if you could find someone to buy them they might pay a bit less. The champagnes have the most value. If its any help, i'd be interested in the Kaisergarten Trockenbeerenauslese to taste from a purely interest point of view. I'd buy that from you but considering delivery costs i wouldn't want to pay much I'm afraid. Where are you based?

Thanks
Tom
