Answer
Hi Joanne,

This premium bottling of DP would be difficult to replace in the UK for much less than £1000 (One thousand GBP) inclusive of tax.

You don't say if you have it in mind to sell but it would be worth contacting one of the international auction houses in London if you do. (I.E. Christies, Sothebys or Bonhams.)

Don't expect the hammer price to approach my retail figure though and don't forget to allow for commission.

Regards,

David

Expertise

I have 40 year`s experience tasting, collecting and enjoying wines as an amateur enthusiast. Bordeaux and Port are my particular loves and I regularly buy and sell at auction. I have a good library and frequently participate in on-line discussions. I can only help with valuations, buying or selling if you tell me where you live as there are many variations around the world.

Experience

I would not feel confident answering questions on German wines or those of the USA, South Africa or Australia.
