Question
1937 Kruge champagne
1937 Kruge champagne
I have a bottle of 1937 Kruge champagne
It was reserved for world war11 private cuvée
It is unopened , what would it bring at a auction ?

Answer
Robyn,
That could be quite a valuable bottle, I'm sure there's quite a story behind it. Depending upon the fill and the provenance it could bring $5,000 or more at auction I would estimate. Your best bet is to contact one of the auction houses like Sotheby's or Christies or Chicago Wine Company. Good Luck

Expertise

I can answer most any question about wine- types, styles, grape varieties, regions, vintages, proper storage, production, wine and food pairing, wine service, decanting, proper glassware, serving temperatures etc. Regarding questions about specific bottles of wine, since I live in the U.S. my focus is on wines imported here. I can't answer questions about spirits and liquor valuations.
