Question
I am curious about the difference between W-CDMA and OFDMA in mobile-phone communication.
I think both of them are based on the technique CDMA.
3G mobile phone uses W-CDMA communication and
4G mobile phone uses OFDMA communication.

What is the major difference?

The difference between WCDMA and OFDMA is in Technology. WCDMA is based on Code division multiplexing while OFDMA is based on Orthogonality of Frequencies.
