Question QUESTION: Hi. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I recently got a dog, and she needs to go out to walk every day, because she is an active breed, and she needs excercise. The problem is now that I have been taking her walking every day, its starting to make my boobs shrink. It is making me loose a little weight, which is bad for me because I don't need to lose any weight. I am very small framed, and I don't really have any excess anywhere. The problem is that my boobs really aren't very big to begin with and I'm worried that if they shrink anymore, there won't be anything left at all!! But I can't really stop walking the dog, and there isn't anyone else to do it. SO I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to keep them where they are while still exercising my dog.. Thanks so much!
ANSWER: Hi Sheila,
Thank you for your question.
Are you currently exercising?
You should make sure that you are doing chest exercises:
chest press--pec flye-bench press-push ups.
Also make sure that you are eating enough, since you are walking your dog,you are burning more calories,so you need to make sure that you are consuming more calories.
Let me know if I can be of any more assistance to you,
Thank you,
Bonnie

QUESTION: Thanks for getting back to me so fast! No I don't really do a whole lot of exercise, maybe a few crunches and things when I can find the time. I just wondered if it maybe had something to do with the heat, because I live in Las Vegas and it is VERY hot here. I have walked a whole lot longer than I do right now when I lived in places that aren't quite as hot, and I haven't changed my eating habits at all, but they never shrank before! Oh yeah, and I know what push ups are, obviously, but as for the rest I have no clue! How many reps of all these should I be doing and how often? Oh yeah and my husband said he thinks that it could have something to do with maybe sweating more because of the heat, could that have anything to do with it?? Thanks so much again for all of your help!!
Answer Hi Sheila,
The heat or sweating really does not have anything do do with it-since you are pretty small already-your body has decided to take from your chest area for unknown reasons.
You should get on a regular exercise program,3-4 times per week.
You can do bodyweight exercises:
walking lunges
squats
push ups
pull ups
crunches
leg lifts
torso twists.
If you get some dumbbells-you can also do the following exercises:
bicep curl
tricep kickback
one arm row
shoulder press
shrug.
You can get pictures and descriptions on these exercises on the website: www.shapefit.com.
You can start with 2 sets of 12 repititions of each exercise.
Thank you,
Bonnie
