Women's Fitness - Busy Working Mom Can Make One Change

Question
Hi!  Many thanks for this wonderful service!

I am a busy working Mom of a 15 month  old. I'm 5'4" and weigh 193 which is less than I weighed when I got pregnant. I walk with my son three times a week for at least an hour, with him in a backpack sometimes. I usually make it to the gym once a week for cardio and stretching. Food-anything goes with the exception of fast food/processed foods. I do eat a lot of fruits and a good amount of vegetables through usually with tasty high fat dressings. Breakfast is eggs or oatmeal and dinners range from take out Chinese to grilled meats and veggies to pasta. My question is this: If you could recommend just one or two simple changes I could integrate into my crazy life, what would those be? Thanks so much for the help!!!

Answer
Hi Sandi,
Thank you for your question.
Here are some of my suggestions for you:
Try to make it to the gym 3 days per week and do a full body workout-ask a trainer at the gym to show you how to use their machines-most gym trainers will give members one free session.
Keep well hydrated-drink about 8 8oz glasses of water each day.
Make sure to eat breakfast everyday-it sets the tone for the day and you won't be hungry at lunch time and be tempted to eat the wrong things.
Good Luck,
Thank you,
feel free to ask any more questions that you may have,
Bonnie
