Women in Religious Life/Follow up

Dear doctor I thank you for your advice because it is good. I really should try not using social media as much although I do use my ipad for prayers I have saved, and praying for others. Yet it distracts me from other things.

I wish I knew why you say I have a gift to heal.

Or that Abby and me are meant to be together. She is a wonderful person and deserves the best, and would love to give it to her. She has helped me over come a lot of fears I  have suffered over the past even though I'm still battling them. I do indeed hope we are meant to be together with Gods blessings. Even now I still read things saying God does the impossible and that He answers prayer.

I wish the best for you Dr. God bless you.

Glad I could help you.  God is amazing, and He works in mysterious ways.  He alone deserves the glory.

In regards to your statement on healing, this is what I know.  Prayer changes things, and it can change people.  In this case, when you pray, people are healed based off your initial inquiry on here.  We all have gifts, and one place to read is 1 Corinthians 12-14 to get a grasp of it.  I would recommend finding an online commentary to read with those chapters; you can find one through www.biblegateway.com or doing a simple www.startpage.com search.  Please feel free to take this spiritual gifts inventory, and use what you learn about yourself for God's glory:  http://www.churchgrowth.org/cgi-cg/gifts.cgi?intro=1.

Now with why you wonder about Abby and yourself being meant to be; this comes down to perspective, of course, but from what I can gather you both encourage each other in so many ways in overcoming the things of this world with God using you both.  When our Lord led me to my husband, he did and still does the same thing you and Abby are doing for each other.  After all, no one wants someone who is abusive to be your lifelong husband or wife, which is why I stress that you and Abby build each other up and make each other feel good.  When someone loves another person, they do exactly that and not the opposite.

God bless you.
