Question
What education is required to become a ND?  Where is this degree available?

Answer
Hi Frank,
There are many options open to becoming an ND.
You can go to a "traditional" Naturopathic College
such as Bastyr, American Naturopathic College,
Southwestern Naturopathic, etc. They usually
require 2-4 years of training.

These colleges are what I call "traditional"
because they teach complementary medicine. They
believe drugs, minor surgery, etc. are acceptable
to use in some cases.

Alternative medicine is offered in more
non-traditional colleges. College of Natural Health,
Clayton School, International College of Naturopathy, etc
There's many more of these types of colleges because
they offer a variety of healing modalities that
have been tested and proven - but necessarily by
Western medicine. They usually offer 2 years of training
and require continuous training.

What kind of naturopathic medicine are you interested in?
