Question I am on ortho tri-cyclen birth control pills and I was wondering is there any way that I could start my period early by skipping the dark blue pills and going straight to the greens pills in the result of starting my period early without the risk of becoming pregnant...I only wanted to do it this once because of prom and was wondering was it safe before I tried it so any suggestions would be very very very helpful...Thanks in advance!!!!
Answer Dear Lister,
Thank you for writing me and "no" I have not heard of a way to start your period early. And I would STRONGLY suggest you do not skip any pills that are for birth control they are in the order they are for a reason and you could upset the balance and become pregnant! Just go to the prom well protected my dear and have FUN! it is not all about having SEX! and if it is then you do not have to be at the prom to do that! You are growing into a beautiful young woman RESPECT! yourself and DEMAND! that the BOY'S respect you as well your body is the most PRECIOUS! thing you can process short of your SOUL! you could lose BOTH! if you are not a wise young woman. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT PLEASE! you have your whole life ahead of you and any of your boyfriends or peers that say you don't are LIAR'S!!
